If you are going on a loop cruise that begins and ends in the same U.S. port, you do not need a passport no matter where it goes. if you are going on a cruise that ends in a different port , then you need one. it is advisable to have one. | Sangee 28.03.2012 08:32:46 | You forgot to meotinn to the readers how long you were living in the UK and what sort of green card you had ?Yes your passport will be stamped as an over stayer and the US Immigration will take a good luck at your records and as why you overstayed in the UK, you may NOT be able to enter the US.It all depends how long you lived in the UK.You did break the law in the if you lived in the UK instead of the US.A green card is given to live in the US not outside.
